NEA RESEARCH PART 3 - INTERTEXTUALITY RESEARCH

Introduction

 For this post I will be looking into intertextuality in two media products within my brief. This will hopefully help my creative process in adding intertextuality into my final product.

 Conclusion 

 Overall, I never thought print media would show intertextuality as much as I thought it would. This is because in videos and films intertextuality is clearly shown a lot. As it was less clear in magazines I had to make some assumption references to intertextuality. On the other hand, it was very interesting with what I found as it referred as lot to social issues and context. This will help me with being more personal and clever with my front cover by the choice of mise en scene, text and other codes and conventions. For example, using a famous movie quote as my headline or subheading, choice of colour or the choice of costume in the front cover.

    I. Can you please add to the conclusion how you intend to use intertextuality in your actual texts?
    T. Please give a couple of examples of how you will potentially use this concept in your texts... Please write it in red and add to your conclusion.
